About hunting in the Northern Cape
The Northern Cape is open, dry country, from the red dunes of the Kalahari to the flat plains of the Karoo. Springbok, gemsbok, red hartebeest and blue wildebeest suit the terrain, and shots are often taken at longer range. Expect hot days and very cold winter nights.
