Hunt Local connects South Africans with trusted hunting farms across the country - whether you're after biltong or trophy game. Search by where you want to hunt and what you can afford, and find a farm that actually fits what you need.
We work on a simple, transparent model: farms list their offerings for free, and we take 12% commission on what a hunter books through us: the accommodation, plus a day fee where the farm charges one. Trophy and species fees are settled with the farm directly and we never touch them. By keeping things local and fair, we support ethical hunting, help farms grow sustainably, and promote responsible wildlife management across South Africa.

To simplify hunting in South Africa by giving local hunters direct access to real farms - no middlemen, just honest hunting.
How we make money
Our 12% commission comes off the farm's side of what the hunter books through us - accommodation, plus a day fee where the farm charges one - and is never added on top of what the hunter pays. We never take a cut of trophy or species fees; those are settled directly between you and the farm.
Farms on our paid plans pay less: 10% on Pro and 8% on Premium. Farms that bring consistent business should keep more of it.
We'd rather earn more because we create more value for farms - more bookings, better marketing, less admin - than by taking a bigger slice from them.
