About hunting in the Eastern Cape
The Eastern Cape mixes Karoo plains, dense valley thicket and mountain slopes, so one trip can cover very different hunting. Kudu, bushbuck, mountain reedbuck, springbok and blesbok are all hunted here, and the thicket rewards a patient walk-and-stalk hunt.
Most biltong hunting happens in the cooler, drier months, roughly May to August. Seasons and permits are set by each province, so confirm the dates with the farm.
