Between Groot Marico and Zeerust in the North West, two and a half hours from Gauteng. Three ways to sleep on one property - en-suite tents, farmhouse rooms and glamping stands with their own kitchens - and a discount for hunting midweek.
Where you'll be
Between Groot Marico and Zeerust, North West.
We show the area, not the gate. The exact location, the turn-off and the farm's own number go to you the moment your booking is confirmed.
Accommodation
Six en-suite tents, a farmhouse with three en-suite rooms sleeping 10, and four glamping stands each with their own power, kitchenette and bathroom for up to 16. The rate shown is a farmhouse room sharing at R450 per person per night; a tent is R600 sharing or R800 single, and a glamping stand is R750 a night for up to four. Trophy rates apply above the horn lengths in the rules: impala over 23 inches R5,000, kudu over 50 inches R25,000.
Per person, per night. Hunt Local takes commission on this and on any day fee, never on trophy or species fees, which you settle with the farm.

What you can hunt here
Bushveld Hunt
Plains game in the Marico bushveld, close enough to Gauteng for a long weekend. A thatched entertainment area, boma, swimming pool and cash bar sit alongside the hunting, so a mixed group of hunters and non-hunters both have somewhere to be.
Species: Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest

Company trips, client days and large mixed parties are quoted by the farm rather than booked off the nightly rate, because they usually want catering, guiding and the lodge to themselves.

- Glamping stand, up to 4 peopleR750 per night
Paid to the farm on the day, not through Hunt Local, so these are not in your booking total and we take no commission on them. Listed so you can budget the whole trip rather than just the beds.
The farm's rules
In the farm's own words, from their price list.
Hunting
- Impala over 23 inches and kudu over 50 inches are charged at the trophy rate rather than the standard one.
Payment
- 20% off accommodation for hunters staying Monday night to Thursday night.
- All prices exclude 15% VAT.
These are the farm's terms, not Hunt Local's, and they are settled between you and the farm on the day. We show them so nothing on the account at the end is a surprise.
